An arrangement of eight parts made of fabric and wax. 

These works are made especially for the ExBunker, in Utrecht. The work asks questions about protection, vulnerability and absence.

On the walls there are four texts that belong to the images. This is one of them:

 

Skin

Thin and light they are, almost collapsing

under this unbearable concrete cloak.

Under the semi-transparent shell

cross veins and folds

by bluffs and bumps.

The wax does not seem alive, but reacts like skin:

with time, her color changes,

it is soft and pliable when heated

with the cold stiff.
